Most tarot readers do not also have a music catalog. I do, and this is how the two fit together. A reader who writes songs
I am Paul Hesch. I work as a tarot reader, Reiki practitioner and psychic intuitive, and I write songs under the name The Paul Hesch Frequency. I write the lyrics and direct the sound of every track. The readings and the songs come from the same place. In a reading, I help one person see their situation more clearly. In a song, I try to do that for whoever is listening. The Magician, the bull and 555 A few things show up in my work again and again. The Magician. It is the tarot card I identify with most: the one who takes what is on the table and makes something real from it. Taurus. I am one, stubborn streak included. My first release was "Stubborn As A Bull (Taurus)." 555. It is the angel number of change, and the one I feel most connected to. Blue. It is my favorite color, and you will see it across the brand. My signature song, "This Is My Frequency," weaves these together. The style: gritty blues with a wink My songs are upbeat and a little rough around the edges, with a gravelly vocal, harmonica and a groove that moves. I stay away from slow and mournful, even on serious subjects. A lot of the songs are comedy. I have written about thermostat wars, endless customer service hold lines and bank fees, each one a small story with a lesson tucked inside. Story first I think of every song as a mini-play. Somebody wants something, something gets in the way, and by the last verse they have learned something. If you laugh on the way there, even better. Songs for other people I also write custom songs for healers, readers and small businesses who want a theme song or a jingle of their own.
