Yeah, this one's for you, LuLu

Found her scared and broken, flinching at every hand
Didn't trust a soul, didn't understand
Bought her not to keep her, just to set her free
But somewhere in the healing, she chose me

LuLu found her fire, LuLu let it go
Burned down every shadow that she used to know
Wasn't magic, wasn't quick, took some time to heal
But LuLu found her fire, and it was real

She growled at what hurt her, bit at what she feared
Nobody could reach the pain that lingered there for years
Then one day we listened, really heard her say
The past had a hold on her, and she wanted it to go away

LuLu found her fire, LuLu let it go
Burned down every shadow that she used to know
Wasn't magic, wasn't quick, took some time to heal
But LuLu found her fire, and it was real

She became the bear, she breathed the flame
Burned the old house down, and she was never the same
Her soul got free that day, her heart came undone
LuLu let it go, and a new dog begun

LuLu found her fire.. LuLu's free..
