The Mountain Gave Him Light (Reiki)

Full Song Lyrics

Yeah, the mountain remembers

Climbed up Mount Kurama, searching for the truth
Fasted twenty-one days, chasing back his youth
No food, no comfort, just the mountain and the sky
Mikao Usui asking the question why

The mountain gave him light, the mountain gave him grace
A healing hand was waiting in that sacred place
Reiki was born on a mountain, born in the quiet and the still
Mikao Usui walked down, carrying the gift, carrying the will

Brought it to the people, healed with his own two hands
Passed it down the line so the whole world understands
Universal life force, flowing hand to hand
A hundred years later, still healing across the land

The mountain gave him light, the mountain gave him grace
A healing hand was waiting in that sacred place
Reiki was born on a mountain, born in the quiet and the still
Mikao Usui walked down, carrying the gift, carrying the will

Every hand that heals today carries his name
The mountain lit the fire, and it's still the same flame

The mountain gave him light.. still burning..
