Full Moon Spell

[Verse 1] Once a month she rises like a lantern in the sky Pullin' on the oceans as the clouds go driftin' by And if she pulls the waters, then she pulls on you and me That's why the old folks waited for the full moon's majesty [Verse 2] I write my wishes down on a piece of brown paper bag Fold it toward me three times like a little prayer flag Set it in the window where the silver light can fall And I let the full moon carry it, the biggest wish of all [Chorus] Full moon spell, full moon spell Whisper what you want and the moon won't tell Paul Hesch is castin' underneath her glow Full moon spell, let the magic flow [Verse 3] Charge your crystals on the porch rail, charge your water in a jar Release the things that hurt you, let 'em drift out far The full moon is for endin' and the full moon is for gain It's a cleansin' like a river, it's a washin' like the rain [Chorus] Full moon spell, full moon spell Whisper what you want and the moon won't tell Paul Hesch is castin' underneath her glow Full moon spell, let the magic flow [Verse 4] I've seen marriages mended underneath that light I've seen new jobs comin' after one full moon night I've seen tears turn to laughter, I've seen fear turn to grace When the moonlight touched a weary, troubled face [Verse 5] So next time she's risin' over mountain, field and town Go outside and greet her, let your burdens all come down Speak your heart out honest, let her silver hear it well And you'll feel it in your bones, the power of the spell [Chorus] Full moon spell, full moon spell Whisper what you want and the moon won't tell Paul Hesch is castin' underneath her glow Full moon spell, let the magic flow
